On National Missing Children’s Day parents, guardians, caregivers, and others concerned with the well-being of children are encouraged to make child safety a priority. They day serves as a reminder to continue our efforts to reunite missing children with their families and an occasion to honor those dedicated to this cause. This May, these efforts are especially important as the continued increase in on-line activity due to COVID-19 requires additional vigilance by parents to maintain the safety of children.
Additionally, National Missing Children’s Day recognizes the extraordinary efforts of individuals, organizations, and agencies that have made a significant contribution to protecting children.
