Pro Bono Training: Litigating Family Law Cases for Domestic Violence Victims

The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project (DCVLP) provides the resources that attorneys need to be a voice in court for domestic violence victims, including hands-on mentorship and malpractice insurance. This upcoming training will prepare any interested attorneys to represent victims in obtaining “stay-away” orders against their abusers. Cases last just 8-12 days on average, DC Bar membership not required. RSVP: http://bit.ly/DCVLP
