Join The Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (A/PI DVRP) for a community panel funded by the Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs around supporting survivors, and what that looks like in faith-based spaces
How do we take the idea of creating safe spaces, and apply it to religious and faith-based spaces? For so many people within the A/PI community, faith can be a connection to culture, heritage and a support system. Therefore it's vital that community organizations and faith-based spaces work together to help survivors have the best access to resources and choice.
This event is open to the public, right next to the Judiciary Square Metro and will feature a panel of 3 speakers and 1 moderator. We strive to make this as inclusive a space as possible, so for any accessibility needs please contact [email protected].
There will be light refreshments provided, and our panel will start promptly at 6:00 PM.
