The new VOCA Victim Assistance Regulations have been posted on the Federal Register website and are available in the PDF posted here. The new regulations will also be posted on regulations.gov for submission of comments.
The Justice Grants Administration and the Office of Victim Services will be hosting a mandatory FY’14 Pre-Bidder’s Conference. There will be two sessions conducted on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Your organization must attend only one session. At least two key staff who will be involved in the application submission for an award must be in attendance.

National Crime Victims' Rights Week is April 21-27th. The Office of Victim Services and our partner organizations will be commemorating the week with an exhibition in the Atrium of the John A. Wilson Building. Stop by 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue during National Crime Victims' Rights Week to learn more about D.C. crime victims rights and the programs in D.C. that serve them.

Melissa Hook, Director of OVS, will receive the 2012 Lois Haight Award for Excellence and Innovation in Victim Service on April 19th at 10:00 am from the Victim Caucus in the House of Representatives. The ceremony will take place in the Rayburn Office Building, Room 2226.
