The DC Office of Victim Services is proud to announce a new initiative we are launching entitled the Victim Assistance Network. The DC Victim Assistance Network (VAN) will serve to maximize limited resources by bringing together community nonprofit victim service organizations with government-based allied partners for collaboration on public policy and programmatic endeavors that will benefit crime victims in the District. Through biannual meetings, we hope to bring together private and public sector stakeholders to provide feedback to the Office of Victim Services regarding our policy and programmatic ventures as well as identify common ground on which we can support and promote each other’s work.
