This RFA is released exclusively to target students with frequent unexcused absences and their families attending low-performing DCPS schools. Award numbers and amounts are dependent upon availability of local funds, and the quality of proposals designed to address truancy with adequate staff support and case management / wraparound practices for youth and families during school year 2013 - 2014. Eligible organizations must have capacity to serve targeted families by October 1, 2013.

DC Victim Hotline

The DC Victim Hotline is available for all crime victims in the District of Columbia. The hotline number is 844-4-HELP-DC (844-443-5732) and is operational 24/7. The hotline victim assistance staff provides basic crisis-intervention support and helps callers access the complete continuum of care for crime victims, including relevant and appropriate resources based on the needs of the caller.
