"Honoring Our Past, Creating Hope for the Future:" An Interactive Timeline will be a community-created exhibit for the public, advocates, and survivors. Part art, part history, and part letters of hope for the future, this installation will celebrate milestones in DC's crime victims' rights, honor community and individual losses and trauma, and allows partners and participants to discuss innovative approaches for survivor-defined justice that are being piloted or could be explored in the coming year.
Specific ways to participate:
1. Add your organization's milestones to the timeline and discussion points about how its work serves crime victims. Include flyers, other outreach materials, or any swag that the public can take.
2. If it is easier to email us your contributions to the timeline, you can send those to [email protected].
3. Invite clients you've served who are crime victims to share their story as it intersects with crime victims' rights by emailing it to [email protected].
4. Attend the kick-off event at Arnold & Porter on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 4-6 pm. Registration.
