The Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants (OVSJG) and Office of Human Rights (OHR) invite all grantees to participate in a webinar on the DC’s Language Access Act of 2004;

Learning objectives:

1) To become aware of DC’s Limited English Proficient and Non-English Proficient (LEP/NEP) community demographics;
2) To get a better understanding of the laws governing language access & the OHR Language Access program and specific grantee requirements; and
3) To find out about the available language access resources and tools

DC Victim Hotline

The DC Victim Hotline is available for all crime victims in the District of Columbia. The hotline number is 844-4-HELP-DC (844-443-5732) and is operational 24/7. The hotline victim assistance staff provides basic crisis-intervention support and helps callers access the complete continuum of care for crime victims, including relevant and appropriate resources based on the needs of the caller.
