In Honor of #GivingBlackDay 2019, The Safe Sisters Circle is hosting a Day of Service Complimentary Dinner for survivors and those working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence residing in Wards 7 and 8 at the DC Dream Center SE White House. There will be a short presentation and discussion by the organization followed by a FREE dinner catered by Neat Meat Food Truck. All are welcome!
This support group is for adult survivors who identify as women and are currently in or have previously been in a violent or abusive partner relationship. The group will provide a safe and supportive environment for survivors to process their experiences with intimate partner violence and connect with other survivors. Participants will have the opportunity to share their story as well as learn strategies to increase their safety and self-care.
